Clothes Show LIVE 2011: A Night at the Department Store with Benefit!

If you made it to this year’s Clothes Show LIVE at the NEC Birmingham, you could not have missed our gigantic pink stand. It stood 5 meters high, and spread across 70 square meters. Yet, some fans said that it was just too small, to accomodate the Benefit enthusiasts. Thank you to all who visited us, and had a make-upper with our brilliant team.

Our lucky fans were keen to pick up the most magical of mascara wands: Benefit’s they’re real mascara that is simply ‘beyond belief’. Have you been hit by they’re real mania yet? It’s sold-out in lots of counters, so count yourself lucky if you managed to secure one for Christmas!

Our model above is quite happy after witnessing her magical they’re real transformation. Thank you Glam Squad!

Are you a fan of our ‘Benefit Cosmetics UK’ Facebook page yet? We launched a new iPad kiosks, where fans who ‘like’ us on Facebook were automatically entered into a competition to win £1000 worth of Benefit Cosmetics. WOWZERS!

We were back with our Clothes Show LIVE exclusive sets:

Who can resist our ‘supermodel in a bottle’ High Beam?

CELEB-SIGHTING!! Among the many celebs who visited our stand were Lynsey & Darren from Hollyoaks enjoying the Bene-party!  We also spotted George Lam, Kimberly Wyatt, and Maria from The Only Way is Essex!

Rachel Wood, our international make-up artist, brought her beauty glam tips from New York City! Sasha was the lucky gal who was picked to be her model.

Rachel and her team of eight were THE team in charge of the make-up looks for both the models and the dancers in the Fashion Theatre. Ever wondered what happens when the doors shut in your local department store? Think Toy Story!  This year’s theme was ‘A Night at the Department Store’ which involved a big ticking clock and mannequins that came alive!

You have to admit that 2011 was THE year for weddings. After the fairy-tale wedding of Prince William & the beautiful Kate Middleton, what gal didn’t fantasize about which wedding dress she’d choose for her big day?! HELP! Is the above a wedding dress or a swimsuit?

Needless to say: Who wanted to hop off when the left reached the Lingerie floor!?

Rachel used our top-sellers on the models performing in the Fashion Theatre. Beauty tip! The lips were achieved by using our silky-finish lipstick ‘nice knickers’ and-get this-standard glitter picked up from a craft store.

We spied on the make-up artists’ tool kits backstage at the Fashion Theatre. Its our chachatint, high beam, moon beam, girl meets pearl, coralista, bella bamba, hoola, get even, big beautiful eyes, BADgal mascara, stay don’t stray, tweezerman, silky-finish lipstick, high brow, and powderflage. We also spotted our b.right radiance skincare range! No wonder the Benefit stand was swarming with Benefit buzz!

Here is Rachel, using Hoola, to add some finishing touches to a dancer backstage. Did you know that Hoola is celebrating its 10th birthday this year!? Happy Birthday Hoola!

We had such a fun time with you at this year’s Clothes Show LIVE in Birmingham! Watch out for us next year in an even bigger stand, if that is even possible!! See you next year!!
