Introducing Lauren: Assistant Makeup & Trend Artist!

A dab-hand with a blusher brush, luscious with lipstick, enviable with eyeshadow meet Lauren our new Assistant Makeup & Trend Artist

Hey guys! I am sooo excited about my new role as Assistant Makeup and Trend Artist. Here is a little bit about me; I have been working for Benefit Cosmetics for 6 years now and been based in the Benefit Cosmetics Covent Garden Boutique. I am 25 years old and live in South London. I studied makeup and beauty therapy at the London College of Beauty Therapy, which ignited my passion for makeup and led me down the fun-filled path of a benebabe. QVC I have been in my new role for just 6 weeks now and WOW what a 6 weeks it has been! Myself and Lisa Potter Dixon have been busy beautifying at the Hard Rock calling festival, British SummerTime at Hyde Park, QVC, blogger roadshows, and various photo shoots.

I’m currently touring with #Benefayre! All in aid of the charity Refuge, for women and children against domestic violence. The Benefayre looked so pretty placed in the heart of Birmingham and people were so welcoming and generous. The Beautiful Karis, from the girl group Stooshe, cut the pink ribbon to open the Benefayre & then it was makeup time! Karis loved our Magic ink eye liner and told me all about her new puppy!

Then it was time to turn my hand to a little candy-floss making, but let me tell you, it’s harder then its looks and I think Karis would agree!

A BIG thank you from the Benebabes for everyone’s kind donations in Birmingham!

The next stop for me on the #Benefayre tour was Glasgow! What fun we’ve had! I was lucky enough to  meet and do the makeup for the fabulous Wendy Turner Webster, who kindly opened the Benefayre, she is such an inspirational woman.

Until next time,

Lauren xx
