Benefit Team Royal Parks Half Marathon Run for Refuge… again!

It was a beautiful crisp autumnal morning as the dedicated team met in Hyde Park, London, ready to run the Royal Parks half marathon for Refuge, a charity against domestic violence for women and children. The park had the most incredible energy and buzz, and we had our pink buckets at the ready to raise money for Refuge!

Kyra, our Head of Promotions, ran the 13.1 mile route through four of London’s magnificent Royals Parks with a team of five. Along the way they passed some of the capitals most iconic landmarks including the Tower of London, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and the Royal Albert Hall.

Before the race the group began their warm up along with thousands of others preparing themselves for the half marathon ahead. We bid farewell to Team Benefit at the start line and set off to the eight-mile mark to get in position to cheer and support all the runners and to raise extra funds for Refuge!
