It’s that time of year again! Dig out your best Devil Wears Prada inspired outfit and channel your inner Miranda Priestly; it’s London Fashion Week! And while we live for all the amazing get ups that come out of LFW, the beauty looks are what we’re really interested in here at Benetowers!
Not had a chance to catch any of the shows? Not a problem! Here’s our round up of the best London Fashion Week beauty looks for 2019.
The brand that everyone aspires to wear, this season Burberry opted for a bold brow and natural, clean skin for their models. Brand favourites Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner looked glowing as they walked the runway with their dark, bold brows taking centre stage.
House of Holland
Henry Holland is never one to shy away from colour in his collections, so why would his makeup be any different? His models can be seen sporting amazing washes of green, purple and lilac eye shadow, applied messily all over the top lid and lower lash line.
A more every day way to wear this look is to take the Big Beauty Eyes palette and use the shade Melon Matte over the entire lid. This colour is a beautiful soft orange which suits all eye colours and skin tones. If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous then why not use Deep Plum Satin for a dramatic, night time look.
Coined as a London Fashion Week ‘must see’ after one of her gowns featured in smash hit thriller Killing Eve, Molly Goddard’s makeup looks didn’t disappoint either. There was a definite 1920s vibe with the dark, thin eyebrows paired with a stained, gothic lip.
A great way to re-create this messy, stained lip look is to use benetint. A Benefit classic, benetint can be popped onto the lip and blended in with a finger. Want a deeper pigment? Layer it up, baby!
When you have a collection as wild and creative as Matty Bovan’s, the makeup has got to live up to standards! The bold, graphic eyeliner look certainly doesn’t disappoint, complementing the clothing perfectly!
Want to give this a go yourself? Use the BADgal BANG! 24 hour eye pencil to draw a thick line from the outer corner of your eye down to the inner corner. Think of it like a backwards cat eyeliner. To add even more definition use Cookie to highlight the inner corner of your eye and cheekbones.
